Building a better future for aging.

I'm Kiran Aiyar. My work is focused on improving how older adults and their families experience aging — through Reimaginer, a free book for families navigating senior care, and resources built to help people find clearer answers, faster.

Why I’m Here

My interest in senior care grew from time spent with older adults and seeing people I care about navigate the realities of aging. It left me asking a question that continues to shape my work: How can we create a better experience of aging?

Today, I’m bringing together my background in engineering, operations, and entrepreneurship with what I’ve learned in senior care — helping families navigate their options while building toward a better way to age.

My Work

Three ways I’m working to make senior care better.

Reimaginer
01

Reimaginer

The company I founded to build a better model for residential senior care — one built around dignity, connection, and a genuine sense of home. It’s early, and I’d rather tell you honestly where it stands than oversell it.

The Book & Workbook

A practical guide for families navigating senior care.

I wrote Pathways to Peace of Mind to help families understand their options, ask better questions, and make more confident decisions — ideally before a crisis forces them to.

The companion workbook turns that guidance into action, with exercises, checklists, and planning tools to help families organize what matters and prepare for what comes next.

Education & Resources

A growing library of guides, conversations with people who know this field well, recommended reading, and links to organizations that can help — because this site doesn’t need every answer. It just needs to help you find one.

My Perspective

A Better Future for Aging

Dignity

Older adults deserve to be treated as full people — not as problems to be managed.

Home

Care should feel like a place to live, not a facility to be housed in.

Connection

Isolation is one of the most under-addressed risks of aging. Relationships matter as much as any clinical measure.

Purpose

A good later chapter still has things worth getting up for.

Progress

None of this changes through slogans. It changes through better decisions, made consistently, over time.

The Free Book

Free book. What’s the catch?

There are only two things I ask.

1

Actually read it.

I wrote this to help families understand senior care and make more informed decisions — not to sit on a shelf.

2

Tell me what you think.

About 15 minutes of honest feedback: what helped, what didn’t, what was confusing, what I should add. Your feedback is worth more to me than anything I could charge for this book.

My Story

Engineering → Operations → Entrepreneurship → Senior Care

Before senior care, I spent years thinking in systems — an Industrial Engineering degree, a Master’s in Engineering Management, and operations roles focused on making organizations run better for the people inside them. None of it was about aging. But it shaped how I approach it now: look closely at how something actually works, find the friction, and fix the system instead of just the symptom.

Let’s Talk

Navigating senior care? Let’s talk.

If someone you love is getting older and you’re not sure where to start, I’m happy to point you in a useful direction — no pitch, no pressure. Free scheduling isn’t set up on the site yet, so for now, reach out directly and I’ll respond personally.
